BEAVER CANYON HALF -MARATHON RULES/GUIDE

We are so excited to have you and start this tradition in the beautiful Beaver Canyon. This guide should answer most of your questions. If not please go to our contact us page.

  • START TIME Race starts at 6:30 A.M. For Half Marathon.

  • Buses will start leaving from Pioneer Park (400 N 400 E) at 4:45 AM and the last bus leaves at 5:15 AM.

  • AID STATIONS - Fully stocked with awesome volunteers at the start of the race. Aid Stations offering water, powerade, Gu, vaseline, bandaids, salt pills, etc…

  • EMTs and Search and Rescue will be at the start of race, on the course, and at the finish line.

  • CANCELLATION NO refunds. You can defer one year only.

  • CLOTHING Bags for warm-up clothing will be given to you along with your bib number. Please write your bib number on the bag. Please place bags in the trailer provided at the start line. Clothing will be available at the finish line. Anything left/not picked up will be donated.

  • because of dry conditions no fires or propane heaters will be provided at the starting line. an extra bag for bag drop will be provided so dress warm. 

  • CUT OFF TIME The cut off time is 4 hours, or 10:15 A.m.

  • PACKET PICKUP beaver city office (30 W 300 N), Friday AUGUST 4 TH from 4:00 P.M. to 8 P.M. no packet pickup the morning oF

  • RULES OF COMPETITION Beaver Canyon half-Marathon reserves the right to remove a runner from the course if, in our judgement, it is possible that serious or fatal injury could result from continued participation. 

  • Non-registered participants aRE PROHIBITED and may result in disqualification

  • ABSOLUTELY NO PERSONAL SUPPORT VEHICLES, AUTOS, BICYCLES, ROLLER BLADES/SKATES, MOTORCYCLES, ETC., WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE COURSE.

  • Strollers are allowed with prior approval.

  • BECAUSE OF ROAD CLOSURES IT IS BEST FOR SPECTATORS TO OBSERVE RUNNERS ONCE THEY COME OUT OF THE CANYON AT THE CANYON BREEZE GOLF COURSE.

  • TRAVEL/lODGING Closest airports are Cedar City Regional (CDC), St. George Municipal (SGU), Salt Lake International Airport (SLC), and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS). Beaver, Utah is located halfway between Salt Lake City, Utah, and Las Vegas, Nevada.


For Age Division Awards the classifications will follow the USATF 5 year groups. 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-24, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-74, 75+
